It's so aggravating. Umar wrestling is sensationa , we saw that in the fight. When he was fresh, he pulled of some beautiful maneuvers that you only see the best the best pull off. It's a joy to watch. Merab was out of hi depth. Not only on the ground, but also on the feet. Merabs striking is a mockery to MMA and striking in general. He has a overhand right which works because of the takedown threat but that is literally it. Nothiing else worked because it was thrown with such poor technique and timing. Umar was beating him up on the feet and out wrestling him. But by round 3, Merab has INCREASED his pace. He already has a decent pace in round 1 and 2. Umar gasses out understandably. Then people are over social media are saying 'wow this fight is just so high level' or 'Merab is just too skilled' People what are you talking his striking sucks, his wrestling is mediocre compared to Umar. Take away his cardio and he would got destroyed. People even have the audacity to claim that Merab outwrestled Umar, it's laughable. I'm praying that Merab is going to get caught because it is ruining my favourite devision. Noone will beat him, it is literally impossible as long as Merab stay tocused and on EPO, simply impossible, USADA left and he improved his cardioo

Every round is like its own full fight, meaning, Umar could’ve knocked down Merab with head kicks in round one and two, giving him 10-9 scores for those two rounds. So, now that’s clear, Merab made Umar fight going backwards for rounds 3,4 and 5. Did strike him in the head very hard in both 4 and 5. That’s why, Merab 3 rounds, Umar 2. I was rooting for Umar, so I’m not being subjective but knowing how the fights are judged, I had it 48-47, I do think the judge who had it 49-46 for Merab was wrong

We saw the damage Omar inflicted on mirab's face and leg but, unfortunately, that damage didn't go down the road.
