You are the cutest couple! Watching every video wishing for a gardening space as big as yours so that I, too, could try to grow so many different varieties. Portugal seems to be quite a good fit for you two. Keep up your great work because as soon as one video ends, all of your fans are looking forward to the next.

Adoramos Portugal - a cultura, a comida e as pessoas prestativas.

When courgettes get missed and grow like that, they are still edible. Cut in half longways, take out the seeds and stuff with your favourite filling. roasted off like that, they cook down nicely and are still tasty, not necessarily coarse at all, although you might expect them to be.
@NearbyVeggies Жыл бұрын
We haven’t got an oven to do any roasting until we move into the house. Luckily we do have lots of lovely food growing.

Don’t throw away your overgrown zucchini. I make delicious breakfast bread loaves using grated zucchini, throwing away or composting the peel and seedy pith. It also makes delicious zucchini relish which we use when eating hot dogs or when I cook dried beans and make a pan of cornbread. I am in Louisiana and grew up in a family of 10. We had a big garden and grew lots of vegetables and fruits which we canned.

A Great Work you have done so far. Marvelous. We are alike in many ways. I was watching the Attic Exploration and i do it he same way, with all the Aw of Discovering Ancient things full of their own History. About the bullets, the previous owners(or someone in the familly) must have been in The war in Africa in our old ultramarine territories.

I was just wondering if you get deer, is that why you've enclosed an area? homegrown bamboo is the best I love the little side shoots, very handy, you have a beautiful garden nice sketch too 😊
@NearbyVeggies2 жыл бұрын
Maybe there are deer? Maybe there are wild boar? There are lots of animals out there, some say that lynx have been seen. However, we built the enclosure to stop the goats that graze on our lower terraces from eating what’s inside. 😊

Laughing so much at the melon comment , Garden looking great I have suggested to all I subscribe to The Jadam fertilisers for incredible results and so easy and cheap and the North korean farming fertilisers that need a lot more work. Your spuds didnt have the nutrients to grow and so the fertilisers recommended are to regenerate the soil.It is the soil you feed, not the plant

@NearbyVeggies2 жыл бұрын
They are not very nice to eat when they're so big and we had so many small and tasty ones. Seeds have been save and vegetables are pickled. I haven't tried a sweet courgette pickle yet so thanks for the great idea, Lilly.
