I can't lie man... this guy got so much Kevin Wallace influence, he even sounds like him lol. Voice inflections and all. Am I the only one that hears this?

Watching this around 3 years after being released, some things have changed and make it impossible to follow along. Some things like the fundamentals remain useful and helped me get going in Meraki API. I thought the ability to import the collection was ridiculously useful and made it easy to jump in and start testing. I've had Meraki devices in my personal lab for around 10 years, but only scratched trying out APIs in the past. That said, after watching this video, I lack an understanding on how to make Postman scalable. It's easy and fun to query one or two devices, but beyond that the output becomes hard to read and I didn't see filtering options for output. What happens when an organization has hundreds or thousands of devices and managing them becomes very cumbersome. Having to add and edit devices, networks, or even IDs one at a time may not save any time from simply using the graphical interface, especially when considering the amount of screen real estate dedicated to the output of these calls. Overall great video, I will continue my discovery.

Thanks for the video, this helped me get my first API call going! I just made one change: changed 'v0 to v1' in the params as v0 is deprecated now in 2023. When I first ran the APi call with v0, it still worked but I got a more robust response after changing it to v1.

I just got to this point in my DevNet studies and this is very helpful being new to this realm. Very much appreciated you and your team creating this video. Judd does a great job in his videos that I have seen. Keep up the good work.

Hi kevin, I really enjoyed your video; you explained everything in a simple manner. I'd like to ask you a question about retrieving device logs from Meraki. Normally, only 30 entries can be seen using the dashboard. However, using Postman and the API, I've found that we can retrieve logs for a certain period of time. Could you explain how to do this and, if possible, create a video on overcoming this limitation of the dashboard using the API? I can see the GET command for it, but I'm struggling to add parameters and retrieve the logs in a visually readable format. Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to use Postman to work with multiple Meraki organizations? I'm looking into ways to administer admin accounts for a MSP company.

my problem is: I work for a large company, we have a lot of "Organizations" and i´d like to add a new "Admin" for all of Orgs, so with postman, I have to put the "organizationId" click send, and repeat again and again... I´d like to know if there´s a way to put all organizations Id at once, and postman process this information, and creat the admin for all Organizations. Thank you in advance
