Shaping = Less assertive, puts a delay on packets that may go over the Bandwidth limit. Policing = More assertive, drops packets that exceed Bandwidth limitations.

I wanted to thank Kevin and his udemy course. I spent about 2 months going through the training provided by CISCO but was having a really hard time retaining information or connecting the dots. I picked up kevins course and oh man. There is no fluff and having each topic explained in individual videos was perfect. I crammed his entire course in about a week and using his course and the free practice tests in the cisco course I passed the CCST first time with a great score. Having the course be 1:1 with the exam objectives really helped me stay organized and easily identify areas I needed to review or re watch the video. I cant recommend his courses enough, they are perfect for my way of learning and being able to focus and master one topic at a time.

When using OSPF in the topology and one of the links goes down the OSPF will automatically publish a link state change so all the routers will change their routing tables accordingly. I don't see any benefits of this so called "Floating Static route".
