i think the issue with the gas snatch game was the overall picture: pythia was seen as robbed of a win, this snatch game wasn’t that funny, people felt a way abt kween making racially charged jokes about gala, and then gala going home. i def get why it’s in the worst eps tbh

It was the overall atmosphere was just awful. But the actual judging of that episode was actually not horrible for me. I think this is the only episode where Kitty deserves to win. The bottom 3 was correct, though I would have Tessa lip syncing instead of Vanity, and Gala probably would still go home.

Just as an fyi. Our favourite queen Tayce just won Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special. It’s the original show that dancing with the stars is based on. It was on the bbc mid-christmas day. She slayed and was exposed to an insanely high amount of new viewers.

Do you know why GAS snatch game ep is rated so low? Because of the stereotypical "jokes" from Rupaul, asking Gala to do a telenovela and laughing at Kitty's "margherita pizza" joke. Also, Kween joking about Gala smelling like tacos was not nice.

Angeria makes an amazing winner bc she fully represents the drag race title and show in the world. She's *always* hyping up the international girls on Twitter, something you don't see very often. She uses her star power to shine a light on lesser known girls etc, super congenial and regal imo. ✊🏿

Thanks! Hey Mera and fab co-hosts, awesome year of content! (knee slap). Being an Aussie, I was very happy that Downunder wasn't on the worst list, great season all up- redemption! I was uncomfortable with Isis judging her drag daughter though, that needed to be handled better, especially in the design challenge where Isis said the two were a tie or something-not great. The Rugirl bias was real on Global, but did love the shade that Miranda gave Kitty in the makeover for her often basic looks - and Kitty's reaction- Hilarious. Happy New Year to you all! Love Matt

I think Down Under was one of the better seasons this year. Certainly in the solid half of Down Under seasons. Maybe it's even number seasons> odd number seasons.

Drag race thailand receptions hurts, i feel like what went wrong is that thailand felts like its own thing on s1 and s2, did it look as expensive as the usa version? No and the format was a lil messy but it felt unique, i think a lot of us expected that version of thailand but with more budget, and what we got was a generic drag race us version with the same formula and it just felt so by the numbers, it was dissappinting hopefully they get one more chanee

It definitely felt like a generic US drag race version, another thing is Pangina not putting her own spin on it, she was more concerned about being more americanized and speaking english when the queens were clearly not as fluent.

Merry Christmas Mera, Fabrielle, and the rest of the fam!! Thank you for putting out such quality content so consistently, even on a huge holiday! Here's my unpopular opinion, but I genuinely enjoyed Belgium season 2. It was so camp and definitely fell into the "so bad, it's good" at times. I honestly enjoyed the political episode a lot. I thought the challenge was creative, I think the cast did pretty well, and the whole thing with the queens looking at the judges notes was so funny. I think people are pretty harsh on this season overall. I really enjoyed the cast and Alvida is a very good winner. It was definitely brought down by some of those judging choices, but to me it was a fun ride.

Global all stars was truly the worst season of the year… they try to make it global YET it was so predictable that it was going to be an American winner.. that’s the one problem with production in that they don’t think we want a winner who isn’t from the UK/US or even Canada… must do better

I was also excited about Thailand, but the fact that they totally ditched Art Arya to put Pangina as the main host put a bad taste in my mouth. I also didn’t like Pangina as the main hostt and the production was bad, I couldn’t watch past episode 1.

8:14 Actually a lot of tv shows are produced in Germany but then also broadcast in Switzerland and Austria. It's the DACH-region and while Switzerland and Austria do have their own tv channels and program, there is a lot of fluctuation. There has also been a Swiss winner on DSDS (German Idol) who later went on to win a season of The Masked Singer Deutschland. Of course I do not expect Ru to just know that, but when filming a Global All Stars season, I expect somebody from production to explain it to her. Cause it was just embarassing to show the world how little Ru cares about international franchises when it would've been so easy to make it right. I mean Tessa even had her promo look in Swiss colours.
