Meramec State Park Campground - Park Travel Review

Meramec State Park is near the town of Sullivan, Missouri. It has one of the most popular campgrounds in the Missouri State Park System. It is also very large. The campground sits on the Meramec River and is very popular with people that like to "float" on the river.
We stayed in Campsite 203. It is an electric site and we had plenty of room to set up our Forest River A Frame Camper and our screened in tent and grill.

Bathhouse near the playground. The hook-ups seem good.

There are 3 bathhouses actually, but near the playground is a good idea. The full hook up sites are very nice.

Very good park tour with all detail of the campground sites. The shower house is "a little bit" away. lol Nice that there's a little restaurant if you decide not to cook. Pretty river. Thanks!

Fun music! I like it! What a pretty drive! The sites look very spacious! I try not to camp on holiday weekends. I like the quiet of a slightly less busy park. Just a personal preference there, lol! Need a reservation for the full hookups, got it! A little walk to the shower never hurt anyone. Group sites! I like that! Beautiful park, guys! Thanks for the tour!
