@@NM0047 The definition of beauty depends on your perception.If you are confusing physical attributes as the embodiment of beauty than you are a bit misguided. Beauty(attractiveness in looks) money, power etc are just a kind of one's possession and possessions change with the passage of time. You can judge objects or goods by such parameters. But if a human being himself judges his kind by these then this might not be very wise. Beauty itself is intangible but attractiveness can be measured by some fair &lovely strip or something (depends on people's taste).

@@mohammedtalha496 How is it a bit misguided? Physical attributes are what makes one beautiful/ugly, I mean how can one be perceived as beautiful/ugly without such physical existence? Now, lets set aside the moral/ethical side of this argument. A human/cat/any living organism can be categorized as an object, as it exists in physical realm. As economies too work without regarding to ethics/moral values, so modern day people who consider themselves as Muslims also are culprits, when they select a partner based on beauty, wealth, social status, etc. And I disagree that attractiveness can be measured or quantified. Its felt/perceived, and what is attractive for most may not be attractive for everyone, lets say a ascetic and vice versa. Also, "fair n lovely" strip comes in Asian communities, :) however, in Caucasian communities they like the tanned/brown color. Iirc, the beauty standards(of mostly women) have changed over time, what is now considered as "fat" was attractive and perhaps even making a come back.

Loved your review and important takes on this hideous over hyped show. making a 6 year old deliver philosophical dialogues is beyond messed up.
