Great to see the family again, especially Alauni. She is adorable. This place is amazing. The food looks so good. The churros, yummy. Have never heard of iced flan before either. Need to try that. We have a grocery store in El Paso called El Mercado and they have a full bakery, butcher and restaurant too but not to this level. Much smaller scale. BTW, I now have an Alauni in my life. My niece had her first baby on Dec 17, almost 1 month old. We call her A.J. (Alauni Josefina).

Hello Bill & Lisa, being a mexican I loved seeing the different foods. This place is not too far from where I live, planning to go sometime. The typical cafe de olla is water, cinnamon, coffee and piloncillo which is unrefined cane sugar. You will find it in the market as dark cone shapes. I want to go there but I’m allergic to cinnamon, how penetrating is the aroma for the cafe de olla and churros throughout the store? I recently went to Mexico and had churros after 8 years, I found a local spot that made them without the cinnamon sugar because he said that many clients were requesting them without cinnamon due to being allergic.
