Looks nice, but it is a very bad idea to connect the trailer to that thin aluminium casting! Aluminium castings is very fragile if they are loaded in the wrong direction.

I would NOT use the caliper bracket for your mounting point. If something goes wrong and it breaks the mounting point your going to have the rear brake completely lock up. Should use the axle mounting point just like how a bicycle is setup to mount a trailer

Should attach to the scooter seat area more money but it's your kids safety or trailer safety. Also if your pulling your child should worry more of the back wheel kicking debris at them.
