I absolutely love Bill for his passion. Each episode is a roller coaster. Sometimes he paraphrases, but anyone with common sense can see where he's going when he speaks. The journey from beginning to end with each painting is so much fun. This man truly found his calling in life , and so many people could benefit greatly from it.

In addition to being the 2nd best painter ever (after my mother of course :-) ), Bill was just an incredibly interesting person. I LOVE listening to him...it just relaxes me and makes me happy. I wish I could purchase some of his work....

Amazing use of colour! Bill's ability to paint realistic scenery is beyond compare. It always looks so completely natural, and his way with light is utterly breathtaking. And of course his personality is enchanting, his joy infectious.

Always good to watch the master at work. He's the product of a culture of dedicated landscape artists out of Germany. My parents only bought german paintings when I was a kid. I marveled at their composition and realistic appearance.

I love how movie makers create film stocks by mixing colours. The blue, into violet, into crimson into orange-browns to the 'darker-darker' he just nails it. This one has me hearing the theme tune to the A-team, (opening intro footage to each episode has a burning, molten-orange sky).

I like the way he swears. Could you imagine Bob Ross saying, "How the HELL are you going to get a thicker paint on a thinner paint? For once in your miserable lives, THINK YOU WORTHLESS IDIOTS!!"

Its a sad moment when you look through all Bill's videos, and they ALL have the little red line on the bottom of the thumbnail indicating you've already watched it. Bit of a bummer.

THIS is the guy that the father of asmr paintings learned from??? how?? theyre techniques, the style, what they say while theyre painting are polar opposites
@RichardJr11344 жыл бұрын
They actually aren't opposites. His style was painting on a wet canvas. If you watch the really early Bob Ross from the 1st season, he even calls things the same. Mountains, trees, paint brushes, etc. Not too mention, I think it was in the 2nd season where Mr.Ross thanks his wonderful teacher Mr Alexander in the beginning of his show.

Bill is so much better than Bob Ross. Bill would fire you up and you would do a painting with mighy power. Bob would put you to sleep and it and you would not want to paint.
@michaellinner77723 жыл бұрын
It's good that his brushes are not possessed by Satan like Bob Ross' are. If only he could've told Bob the secret to exorcising the evil out of his equipment. Perhaps it was his constant mention of the "Almighty" that kept his brushes from being taken over by the Devil.

Its not a competition both are excellent painters and teachers with their own style, although if we have to compare, your brain and your IQ appear to be in a death struggle.

Bob is very good but bill is way superior and thats all there is to it . i've seen bill do all kinds of different paintings and every one of them is outstanding . just look at how he moves his brush its magic .
