Great video. I also replaced my gear knob with another one made of wood. Feels a lot better. Other than that, I think it's a shame that these zebrano trims crack so easily.

I know this is a pretty old video now... but that stripe down the middle of your shifter top is DIRT! The leather is simply dirty. (Yes really lol). The only thing ive found that ACTUALLY works to deep clean leather, is the "Strong Leather Cleaner" from Colourlock UK. Must use a brush to clean it

It may be a little warped. I want to restore one of those trims in the future. I’m happy that the trim sits in there and isn’t popped out anymore🤘

@@VITOSGARAGE There is place where they sell the wooden accents, for all types of Mercedes Benz, from the cars to the SUVs, and they have steering wheels, that you can keep the airbag, but the rim is like in wood, also they have different pieces to make the car stand out of the rest, they have body kits, rims, & different items, to make your car or SUV, look👌👌👌👌👌it is called Performance Products, and they have different catalogs, like for Mercedes Benz, Porsche, and others, sorry don*t have the telephone, they also have apage,www.performance products, where you will find all the goodies for your 190, and other models.

Question - 1988, MB 190-E, 2.3 - Extreme difficulty starting, cold or hot, replaced OVP, + cold-start injector, new plugs, + runs boggy, won't go above 70 MPH and takes a while to get there - + again boggy when going up hill. Drives like it has a potato in the exhaust. Mechanic stymied - any suggestions from someone who has had similar problems would be appreciated... Thanks in advance, John

Hi there. Have you checked for vacuum leaks in the intake? Vacuum leaks can cause weird problems like that. And make sure the fuel pressures get tested. There should be about 0.4 bar different between upper and lower chambers of the fuel distributor. You need a special KE Jetronic gauge for that
