On the video it advertises 6 cylinder, but infact is a 4 cylinder.

Thank you for sharing your high quality recordings. Can you recommend a good mic (price range $50-150 USD) for outdoor/indoor field recording please? For places like: parks, city streets, cafe conversations, also for indoor foley sounds.

if you are getting a first recorder, i would go with a zoom h4n to start out with, get a wind protector for it, and start recording things with it. It is pretty versatile and useful recorder. it doesn't have the cleanest preamps on the market, but works very well as an all around recorder and I still use it for things all the time. check out the "Lom usi pros" for affordable omni directional microphones for atmospheres and light fx.
