Hi, from AUS the only way to get the parts was searching the Internet for someone in Europe that would ship them here. The merc dealers were useless. So the only place I found was CKS performance but I am not sure they still ship outside the EU. There is plenty of Chinese aftermarket but I wanted OEM

Hi, The black piece of plastic is just a guide for the rivets that come with the side skirts. These are official OEM Edition 1 side skirts and are a standard size..

Hi, As far as I knew the 2019 model is the same as the current production. in 2019 they made the last update. The only addition was that they sold a special addition model called the Aero which had all this added at factory. I would ask your dealer but I am 100% sure it is the same as my car and they pull off...

Hi, I did hire someone in the end after going through lots of car upholsterers who said either they wouldn't do it or wanted to charge a huge amount. In the end I got a company to stain it but he was totally useless and lazy and created a lot of damage to the leather as he used a stain. He got fed up masking the area off and just literally painted free will. I had to then pay a professional to respray the leather where he had messed it up. So my advice is do it yourself if you are particular like me and RIT is brilliant at staining and I didn't have any rub off...

I’ve tried using RIT to test on jeans, and it didn’t end well so I’m a little bit nervous hahaha. I’ll buy a small piece of Alcantara and test it. Thank you.

Also for the front lip for the side pieces. Do they have to be bolted on the side of the front bumper. ?

No they are bolted to the bottom of the bumper and the small pieces that come up the side are double sided taped that is attached when purchased ex Mercedes

How easy was the installation of the front lip? Did they have to remove the front bumper? I can't find an installation guide anywhere online...

Hi, if you can raise the car then the installation is straight forward. It is screwed to the bumper and then stuck around the edges. As the car is very low anyway I couldn't do it myself but no they do not need to remove the bumper. The only bumper you have to remove is the rear for the bumper flics (that is if you want to fix it as per Mercedes). I didn't and just glued them on.

@@BT13571 Hi, Apologies for the late reply... It is correct that they do need to remove the bumper if they are to fit it as per Mercedes. it's a 2 man job too.. I chose to just have them stick them with regular body shop epoxy resin glue. I don't ever intend to remove them and they just stick straight on. You could do it yourself it's that easy.

How much did the aero kit cost ?

Hi, all parts were ordered via a company in the uk called CKS Performance. There are other companies but they didn’t ship worldwide. The German suppliers only ship in the EU. So I paid for them in USD. The boot spoiler was $1200, rear bumper flics $260, side sills $645 and front spoiler $670. Then you have to pay courier charge too.

Hi George... No they didn't. The shirts did come with rivets but they were still there when i picked the car up. It was a bit lazy but the body shop i used had never fitted these before so they stuck them on

@@amgtr_gi they are supposed to be riveted and they do come OEM. The original package ex Mercedes’ is also riveted. They were just lazy

I did the same thing, but went with Carbon Fiber exterior 1 & 2 and ordered from a company out of California that provides the parts for OEM Mercedes in the US. Just cut out that dealer markup.

@@markwarner7326 ground effect is how the 2022 F1 cars generate majority of their downforce. You can add a carbon fiber panel below the car to have the ground effect. It sucks the car to the ground by creating a low pressure zone under the car.

@@95nishanth I have never seen this for a C63… I wouldn’t even know where to buy one or if it would make any difference. The issue is too much power to rear wheel drive

@@markwarner7326 it’s not common in a C63. TBH I don’t think anyone has done this other than for some track focused events. Most aero upgrades are not that effective in road legal cars to be able to corner at extremely high speeds.

Hi, I suppose I was lucky as they were in stock and I got them in just over a week. I did have to wait a while for the rear spoiler but they will send it when Merc stock them up. They buy direct from Germany...

@@pengfeilu6112 I would get these done by the body shop. there is a base strip that needs screwing to the body and the outer strip needs to be perfectly fitted..i had to take mine back as even 3mm shows

@@pengfeilu6112 it's reasonably easy to be honest and you just have to make sure that they use professional double sided tape. I used tape from Repco on my spoiler and it was terrible. Took it off and replaced with 3M. The way they are shaped mean that they have to fit perfect otherwise you will see a small gap. Good luck. However they were made for this car and look awesome

Hi Kevin, I used a company called MJ Modifications in Lane Cove Sydney. They ship worldwide. The covers are made in Taiwan i believe but are vey good quality. Not cheap, over $800 but worth it as I also ordered some cheaper caps and they were rubbish. With these you screw in the original MB indicator into the cap and its also super easy to fit yourself.

@@SuperKayvee no they are not. I did look at the OEM ones from CKS Performance but when I did more research I found that the Mercedes ones were not genuine 100% carbon fibre. So I decided to then buy the caps which were rubbish. These covers are very good and I am a fussy person. It's the only item I bought that wasn't a Merc part. I would suggest if you live in Sydney then go and check them out but I am super happy with them

ITRKID I used a company that had a water based stain. He did a terrible job and I ended up staining it myself with an off the shelf water based fabric dye called Rit. I slightly watered it down and used a cosmetic sponge to apply. I wish I had done it myself to begin with. The suede is not real it’s artificial and staining it does take the softness off. But to be honest I am super happy with the result and looks better than the white in my opinion. Just google Rit fabric dye and you can buy it in your local supermarket if you live in Oz. Just don’t get it on the leather as it will stain the seat.
