Mercedes 410D - Fitting a New Crankshaft Seal & the Pully

Now you might think changing your crankshaft seal is a difficult job, well if anything it's more awkward & messy than hard to do. But re-fitting a new seal is quite easy once you have been shown how to do it.
So watch this short video, and I'm sure you will think to yourself - I can do that.

Really enjoying your videos Jeff and the straightforward talk throughs. I have a 1994 s660 which I’m gradually working through. Having a terrible time with glow plugs disintegrating on cylinder 5 along with prechamber damage. Suspect that there is electrical mischief within the glow plug circuit but new plugs and relay hasn’t sorted it. I will win though. Keep it up. Cheers

Funny you should say that about your glow plug, I've owned a Mitsubishi Shogan for the last 16 years now, but I still have to change the number 3 glow plug every 8 months (it just fails all the time), reason why that one fails in beyond me, as I've tried everthing I know but it still fails. Glad you find the videos usefull though Matthew. Cheers Jeff
