Hey guys, you may know this already, but the original European version of this 560SEC came with entire different head lights. If you go to the KZbin Channel of OldBenz and you go find the video called: 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC c126 the pure perfection , you be able to see the difference. The original European head lights were bigger and all glass than the ones in the American version, and so they came without that edge your fiance been replacing in this video. If you'd replace both head lights with the standard and original European head lights, you'll never have to replace those edges anymore and the car gets it's original looks back, the way they should have looked, if the American government had not interfered with import of foreign cars and not demanded that import cars had to be made different from the original looks, just to make sure import cars were getting less popular. See the Americans had to purchase American cars, and so import of foreign cars had to be hindered.

Yea I like the option. I've thought about doing it, but I hesitate to pay $1500 for a pair of headlights lol

@@beardedreviews Wow ! really...? not so long ago...one could have purchased an entire 560SEC for that kinda money..... This sounds freakin' expesive and it makes sense that you did not go for that option!

you can find them on ebay. I got mine from a guy in the mercedes forums. There are lots of things for sale in the forums

Yes have your girlfriend around on these videos, with all do respect, but she's very nice to look at, in fact she's a lot better to look at then you are...;-) ;-) ;-) And she's not afraid of some elbow grease and she's got skills, which need to be developed ;-) So do not leave the premises yet... Your girlfriend needs some guidance, that is, until she's completely independent.
