Mercedes A-Class hatchback expert car review

My C class is in for a refurb cause I curbed the wheels real bad. Gave me an A class for a week and I was seriously expecting it to be nasty but it really isn't. It's dampened ridiculously well, it handles similar to the bigger mercedes and has a really driver focused feeling. The black roof liner makes the interior fade away when youre looking at the road so you forget about the mediocre interior. It's not luxurious but it feels real solid. I'm very pleasantly surprised. Also he's right, it's subtly gorgeous, it's no corolla.

I Had one the Turbo went on it at 28,000 Miles on it just one week after The warranty went And just as I was seeing about trading it in for the GLA Model. It was going to cost. £3,500 Just to carry out the repair. I honestly Don't want to write what I really would like to say about there customers Service department 👎I have been told now that they are failing all the Time and they won't admit it that's Mercedes for you.

Lame bias review, even top gear UK rated it above the golf, a3 and on par with the bmw.

Rivals you forget to include are Focus and Astra which have considerably more interior space and boot space and more powerfull Diesel engines ...Beside the front this is the most bland, overpriced, underpowered and claustrophobic car in its class...

We don’t disagree with any of that, Paul. The reason we didn’t mention Focus and Astra was because of the price difference between them and the Mercedes, but they’re the same size and, in some ways, better cars.

+Paul Davies I've just had one on a rental. Am seriously impressed. The steering especially is really good. I didn't expect it to feel so good as a car.

Seems like a particularly unfair review. God knows why anyone would buy the petrol model, the diesels are much better. Seems strange that this review recommends it

there's a reason why there's no diesel sports/super cars

+hi9580 The fun things is that the diesel engines are more efficient working than petrol engines and more suited for people who drives long journeys where as the petrol is more suited for short travel it´s less powerfull and less eficient and cheaper in some ways although having a diesel might save you for a lot of money. the reason why petrol is used for sports cars is because of the fact that it´s more suitable to use since they you won´t travel very long in them therefor the petrol is a lot better for them because if they used diesel the combustion chaber would clog up with soot and that´s not desirable at all.
