Mate your so lucky you got the solinoid off without breaking the plastic. I went through 2 valves trying to get the solinoid off. Both were fused to the bottom plate.. Now the good news - despite the different size and part number, I took one of a late model w202 since it looked electricly the same - and it worked! So now have a second hand part that's 15 years newer!

Completely random questions - what brand / where did you get your k-jet fuel pressure tester? Looking to buy one
@MMWA-DAVE5 жыл бұрын
Christopher Norlen-Holmes this was a recent replacement on the donor car. I know this from buying a brand new genuine MB one a couple years back and seeing this new manufacturer as the OEM. The originals back in the day were made by Bosch.

Hi, I was delivered a Benz E200 W124 by the owner. He complained that there was no warm air blowing through the vents so I got to it with a run-down of all the climate control components. I'd had no prior experience with working on a Mercedes, so it took me some time to pinpoint the culprit, which was this dual valve. My question is, would cleaning it out make a difference?
@TheUnreal1982 Жыл бұрын
Hi bro. I have the same valve and I fixed it. Only water is leaking out of the coil and I couldn't find where it was leaking from. I know that the original reels normally have gaskets, but my reels were completely broken and I couldn't get a new one. That's why I 3d Printed it exactly the same. I also installed the gaskets, I think they should not miss the gasket part. But I'm pretty sure you missed it by the coil. I wonder if the magnetic core of the valves (the metal part that pushes back and forth) is leaking from the hole part? Because I'm pretty sure I fixed the bottom insulation gaskets tight. If I close the holes in this kernel, will it work? Because I can't think of any other possibility. It's also the solution.

Do you know how to bleed the duo valve on a 140 with an m104? It has an aux pump which needs to be primed I assume. I replaced the water pump and I think I have an air pocket in the matrix.

126 does indeed have either a mono or duo valve depending on heating setup used. 126 also has a separate box apart from the actual control panel which controls everything and is known to cause problems too.

Graziano Zeus interesting. Well if you have access to one, you could try another control panel. All the electronics are inside it. If you have heated middle nozzles you will hAve the final version which will be in late version cars only (I’ve not seen this version before) i believe this final version also has a vacuum pod for mixing the air for the middle nozzles. This may also be an issue.
