the slc 43 amg is build for those who want to be classy and also have a bit of fun.... if you want something really crazy that drive you out... go for a porche... but this is a good car. Perfect for urban, low profile... not too flashy for real millionaire.... unlike some faker who borrow a porche for a day... the slc 3 amg will make people understand who you really are.... a true gentlemen... a noble... a real thrill seeker...

This makes a great second or third car. If you're looking for raw performance from a V8, this is not for you. However, I own other cars that give me that thrill. I would make this my everyday driver. Sometimes cars are not strictly about performance numbers. In this case, I would love to add this car to my collection. I spent a lot of time in the SLC 300, and never stopped smiling the whole time! If I want to scare myself I will drive my other performance cars. This car is fantastic!

definitely looks like a make-over as apposed to a ground up re-design but it's just enough to extend the cars life 1 or two more years. After that they will have to step up with something groundbreaking as the market it's in also contains cars like Porsche's Boxster.

I'm surprised by how dated this car looks. I honestly would not even place it's exterior in the style era of this decade, and to think it's new. How is this happening I have no idea. On one hand, Daimler-Benz has the design talent which put out the current S65 AMG coupe. On the other, this. Mercedes had treated India unfairly I feel.

It looks alright. Its design legit looks a lot like that of the bmw z4 and audi tt. These 3 cars are aging and their design hasn't been changed a lot since they represent these 3 companies' budget idea of roadsters. Do not expect the design to change before 2019 in any way. And by the way, both s65 coupe and s65 sedan, or even s63's are not comparable to this car. they are in completely different leagues. use your head and be informed before giving a sharp opinion.

Prateek Patankar forign areas mai bhi car same look se jati hai. Jbtw the dated looks actually represents the 65 years of history of mercedes Sl. The sl unlike other roadsters from mercedes doent follow the normal look. But actually is made so that it feels out of fashion.

Finally merc is launching cars to rival Audi TT or the Z4. But V6??? Why bargain with 2 cylinders. I like the rear of this car a lot, however there was something special with the old SLK with the optional rear spoiler.

get an aftermarket one if you can afford this car. aftermarkets are fine. just buy one from an international brand so you don't have to worry about the quality and looks.

It's 4.7 (on the books, likely closer to 4.4-4.5 in reality on good asphalt). But even if it's 4.7+, I'd take an SLC 43 any day of the week over the boxter/cayman. They don't have any personality at all. Porches have looked the same for so long it's becoming a joke to me. And the ride quality on the SLC is lightyears above the boxter/cayman. Not to mention the hard top convertible instead of soft top. Would never want a soft top personally, because when the top is up I prefer the quiet ride of the SLC, feels more like a coupe with the top up. I have a 2019 SLC 43 on order and cannot wait for it to arrive.

Vratt 9111 lol an Audi is costly to repair. Mercedes-benz is actually the most affordable of all European cars when it come to parts. I don't know anything about Indian roads but one thing is certain is you'll be in the most luxurious brand no matter where you are in life :p
