Mercedes B-klasse vs Ford C-Max roadtest (english subtitled)

Mercedes-Benz heeft een gloednieuwe B-klasse klaar. Waar staat-ie in zijn concurrentieveld? Daar blijken we het niet bepaald gemakkelijk over eens te worden. In deze video is het nek aan nek met de Ford C-Max, in AutoWeek 4 staat de uitgebreide test, waar we er ook nog een Peugeot 3008 bij hebben gehaald.

Great Vid, I drive a 2007 Ford Focus zx5 and to be honest from what I can see, Ford has come a long way in a few years! I think that it's pretty impressive despite the short commings. Most cars have the same materials and for a Ford to be compared fairly with a Mercedes is amazing!

thats because it didn't have any exterior appearence packs, such as 18 inch alloys, privacy glass boot spoiler ect, the Merc had those options

Ik zou die 1000 euro er wel voor over hebben dan maar wat langer sparen die B-Klasse ziet er toch gewoon veel beter uit maar ja dat is persoonlijke mening.

Hmm, Euro1,000 more then the C-Max. Where I am from the B-Class 1.6 Turbo with 15" steel wheels (base trim) is almost Euro4,000 more then a top trim C-Max Titanium 1.6 EcoBoost.

I dont mean they are the worlds best but just tell me some alternative cars in that price segment that are as fun to drive as fords, there is Mazda but its not refined and suspension is stiff then what else...

ford is in this comparison because ford produce some of worlds best handling cars, the ride quality is great without too hard suspension, and because the engine is reasonably punchy and frugal and if you dont have money to merc why not check a c max, every1 dosent have money to keep a merc in teir garage.

worlds best handling cars ? WTF You could say that of the high end merc (like the e class, or s class), or sportive bmw (like m3 ), or of the porsche, etc But not of the Ford products, which are actually quite good, but not the worlds best handling cars ;)

I would still take the Ford. I will never buy a Mercedes again, very unreliable.
