Hello This is a really great video, I have a 2015 c class. I believe the engine number is M274. Can you tell me what parts I have to remove in order to replace the water pump please.

He removed the battery to remove the hard metal water pipe that goes from the pump round to the right side back of the engine. This is one of the worst water pumps to do. Worse than the front mounted Audi pumps.

Might add that he removed the right hand hard pipe (which goes round the back of engine on the right side) when you don't have to. Simply unbolting it from the side of the head and front of the block allows enough room to get the pump out (if you remove the plastic cage in the inlet of turbo). The left hand hard pipe can only be moved by removing the engine mount and you 100% have to do this.

That will be the coolant level sensor in the expansion tank. Nothing to do with the pump.

Yes jack and piece of wood underneath. The battery comes out to get access to the hard metal water pipe brackets.

No, there's nothing there that will be disturbed. More than likely the chain cover is leaking.

I remove the turbo and without touch the mounting ,the fan and battery, I know so many way to do this job. and I know a 15s way to put the lock pin to lock the belt tensioner.the turbo is easy remove and without remove exhaust manifold.
