Hey darieee, hope you are well. Just curious what module you used on this? Have you by chance done any programming on the modules that have the Beken chip? PS - I saw your response on the QCC3008 ADK comment, not sure when or if I will get time to do a video. My CSRA64215 / OEM stereo setup in the 05 Camry is still working great. I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't done any programming yet, on any module. But I did finally order and receive the 7 pin clip on probe thing, the USB interface, and have plans to try them soon. I think I still have the downloads you sent me 2 years ago. That said, I have bought a TPA3110d2 2ch amp off AliExpress that has one of the Beken modules on it that has the differential connection to the TPA3110d2 and am pretty impressed with the sound quality.

how's it perform on the BT interference front?

I haven't used it in a car so I can't speak to that. It's pre programmed to answer calls in handsfree mode, and since I intend to use this amp more for home and portable use I'd like to be able to change that. For the $12 price with a differential connection + TPA3110d2 and aux input it's a great little amp. I've seen the same board with TPA3118 and TPA3116 but if you're going to bi-amp, I think the 3110 on 16v is adequate. With the addition of a pair of voltage dividers feeding L and R signal to one of those blue mono TPA3116d2 sub amps running on 24v, I think this could be a great 2.1 setup that's better than the GEM200 amp that has op amps in the signal path and the blech JL Bluetooth chip (which has pretty bad lip sync delay when watching music videos).

Hey Dariee, amazing videos, I just changed the volume encoder on my Becker 1350 special thanks to your vids. I wanted to now install bluetooth in it, where do I go for the most reliable bluetooth adapter that attaches to the CD jack on the back? Just need two things from it, clear quality (no static or buzzing when not in operation) and two, quality components that neither cause battery drain nor risk damaging the actual Becker (which is 30 years old). Pls recommend. Thank you!

Hello Dariee I stumbled on your videos trying to modify my OEM radio in my 2002 Impreza. I attempted a primitive Bluetooth modification myself... It did not go well. Do you only modify Mercedes and bmw radios? How do I get hold of you? Can I commission you to modify a 2002 Subaru impreza radio?

hey man 🤘, there is a huge upfront investment, mainly in time, associated in modding an 'unknown' radio .. this cost translated into actual hard currency is usually so large, I end up saying no but the answer really depends on how badly the customer wants their mod, and how much money i can make spending my time otherwise at that point in my life do send me an email and we can talk ✌️, lipton5001 yahoo com

Is there something special about the Beckers that allows them to be modified in this way? Ie “hijacking” the AM pre-outs?

Is there a solution if one has just a mono speaker in the car? The TPA3110d2 afaik would support 30W at 4-Ω mono output, but i am looking for a pre-built solution and to date i have only found stereo output modules?

not a great deal - mainly more buttons and more radio station presets and the exquisit also supports an IR remote they all sound super good though, and I think all are 4x20W

depends what you mean - I now mod radios for a fee, and I do not have knowhow for all models theoretically anything is possible - but - I also encountered some radios where I am fairly certain a 'simple' solution is impossible

it should, all depends on how much time you're willing to throw at this problem and how occult the chips inside are .. japanese radios for example contain exclusively weird japanese chips with no datasheets online, especially if they're from the 90s

the AM channel is just used for the button - the entire bluetooth signal path is stereo
