Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe (2017) - First Impressions

I picked up 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe from my friends at Stevens Creek Mercedes-Benz & AMG. As I filmed a walk through, the new GoPro Hero5 died on me so I couldn't get first person view or "POV" footage but I was able to get some nice footage and good chatting in with my friend Beth about the car. The best looking entry class coupe I've had the privilege of driving. If you have any questions or video feedback, let me know in the comments! This Coupe has a 2.0L single Turbo 4 cylinder with 241 horsepower and 273lb-ft of torque. MSRP for this specific car is: $55,000

I think the C class coupe looks stunning this year, I couldn't stop staring at the front end throughout the day. Handling is really good and the car can take you on many spirited drives. My only major "gripe" with the car is that the ride isn't super smooth in comfort mode like an S-class but that's probably due to the 19" AMG wheels. This particular car didn't have the air ride option but you can select that when building your C class coupe and I would highly recommend it.

I own it, and no it doesn't resemble a Honda...I have owned MBZ Coupes since 2003, and I had the last model; but it was smaller, and not as luxurious; but stupid fun. The one I purchased is the 2017 C300 Coupe AMG Sport Package w/rear deck spoiler, 19"rims, and more- exceeds my expectations of a lux sport @ 58,000.GET IT!!

I own one and laughed when I heard the accord thing. I agree , there are some similar angles. That logic is like saying a G wagon stole inspiration from a Wrangler . But im not losing sleep over it. Id say the c coupe is closer to an s class in looks than an accord thankfully LOL .

Things I like: The looks, overall curb appeal.....interior cant be beat for the money. Things I Dislike: numb steering, needs just a little more power...Cant justify hopping up to a C43/ C63 for the price...... I would just buy a Cayman S/ Pre owned 911 or Vette instead. Overall, its been 6 months and I still look back at it every time I get out of it. This will be a great daily for me for the next couple of years.

Other personal notes: - Dynamic LEDs should not just be apart of the premium 3 package where youre forced to shell out 8 grand...but should be a la carte like you can order in Europe. -The damn bumper pieces (I know its some DOT safety regulation, but still , again envy the europeans who dont have to live with those ugly things on the back) - Ambient lighting needs to be a little bit brighter...seems a bit dim compared to other models Thats really it though....and thats nit picking!

+Mahesh Kotapalli it seems you do not need to drive other people correct? As these are all coops. How long do you usually drive every day? What do you enjoy most in a car? Performance, interior, coolness factor? All three of those cars are great choices

Should I Get It that is correct ... i won't be driving people ... m not greatly concerned about performance tbh ... but need good looking car in n out with more then decent performance .... i loved BMW but it's too common ... c300 is on expensive side so much that I can almost get s5 ... n a5 is great but nt as gud looking as others ... m just trying to strike a balance between cost, looks , style factor ... really thanks for replying ...

I'd say the BMW is the best all around. Smoothest ride and best interior but if you can get an S5 that beats all of these cars. Probably because very few dealers ordered the car without AMG trim.

Wow that's so expensive! How much is an AMG C63 in Turkey?

There is no C63 but 4 door version of C63s is like 210.000 euros without most of the packages. I used to drive 2016 C180 (due to petrol prices and taxes) and it was like 55.000 euros.

I come from San Jose Mr.Joe and this is clearly a first impressions video. Not a review or read out of specs. Put on some glasses, park a new accord side by side with this and tell me the silhouettes don't look very similar. Please.

What do you like about this car vs the bmw gran coupe? I love the body of the gran coupe and the practicality but the interior lacks the technology that this car offers. Let me know what you think.

Hi Rose, thanks for watching! I actually have a 428i GranCoupe in the family and love that car. It is sexy! Very easy to use and technology wise I wouldn't say it's lacking, just the Mercedes goes above and beyond. What are you looking for in a car? I'd flip a coin between the two and be happy either way!
