I have the 2003 CL 55 AMG (C215), which is the supercharged V-8 with 493 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The interior is exactly the same as this car and I will say that mine is in the same excellent condition as this car. As nice as the 2001 W220 V-12 performs, I'll keep my car. It would be interesting to compare these 2 cars on a track. This is an excellent video and I commend this guy for shooting the POV video, particularly as I can show my wife what she misses when I'm alone on an empty stretch of road and can really let the horses run in my CL 55. As bad as it is to speed, I have to say it's a lot of fun now and again. It's very satisfying to be at a light and see the kids in their Mustangs, Camaros and Chargers pull up next to me and blow them away. Sorry kids, there are times when us older guys get to enjoy a moment or two to recall our past glories.

Back in the 80ies a powerful Benz wanted to race our 1963 Plymouth Belvedere. Little did he know the 200 something horse power he had was great for the time when everyone on the road had 50-90hp in their cars, but was to be left sitting on the line as the old rusty mopar had a little under 500hp. @@JedemPoKucama So they say. But im pretty sure if he used his GPS speedometer he'd be going well into the 280 or 300 range. I've hit limiters and the thing with them is that they start applying the brakes and not let you rev anymore. He's not having ANY of that. thats not a limited car.
