My first car , E39 525tds for 14 years , second car E39 touring tds but to slow car , little engine underpowered , third car : E39 525d , much better but... fourth car , E39 525D touring automatic , swapped 3.0d with shaft and differential , 193hp calculator with immo off , stage 1 - 231Hp (kept the torque limiter on first and second gear ) , E60 530D injectors with nozzle 926+ from the E39 , new original turbo garret , full service of gearbox and it drive realy good ...

Seems to have been geared so it won’t go much faster than 250kmh speedo will be over reading a bit as BMW say they’ll do 245kmh, I didn’t realise the 35i had V8s assumed they would have been an inline 6.

This model is for the standard emergency ambulance here in Spain. Really confortable to drive, if its manual transmission, better! Working with it never had any inconvenience and it turns really well!!!!
