Performing well in straight line races is merely just a bonus. Oh and lets not forget, as you stated yourself, the AMG weighs over 4,000lbs, so handling is prone to being piss poor.

Ok for those of you who dont know, Evo and this benz is totally different it's true that Benz cost more and more luxury. Evo is a car with way lower price of course the interior must be different for damn sake. Evo just give enough comfort to let you drive a day long where mecedes give better comfort for driving and make you feel more relax. Originally all the evo series they are 4×4/ AWD(All wheels drive) where the benz isnt and because it is all wheels drive it offers more safety than the cars that are 2 wheels drive. Evo itself comes out of the factory with over 250horse power already just with its stock turbo and just only slightly upgrade for evo eg change to bigger turbo or modify and fit in twinturbo it can already go up to 310hp+ . And originally the Evos are meant for rally race for damn sake take that damn Benz in to the rally trust me it wont even go over 200 metres. Lancer Evolution, Subaru imprezas these are damn road demons that anyone can afford.

And another reason is that its a real car that being made from factory...because nowadays Evos are no longer being produce so its getting rare and because of that people starts to make it up... to be clearer the take another car, remove the frame put in evo's engine, tires and etc to make it look exactly like real evo even some they make those cars to be able to drive 4 wheels (AWD)

Agree on all of that, tbh my evo would start to piss me off after about 2hrs of motorway driving. The noise, the seats etc. Not for cruising. I currently have an l322 and would take that all day long for a long motorway journey over the evo. Still the best car I have ever owned though

Rabbon-I The Genesis It has different purposes, Mercedes-Benz is a pricey car because they offer comfort, safety, technology, etc, while in the Lancer you only get the performance, and let's say it's fun to drive...but it is really opposite when you try to compare these car, so it isn't fair to say Mercedes-Benz isn't worth a price...

For half the price of the Benz you can make the Evo not just much much faster but also so much safer than the benz and even more comfortable if you want with super luxurious interior with better quality leather than the benz and it would still be more reliable no matter what, the 2.5 190 evolozion now that is much much better than the 63AMG piece of shit and is even more luxurious than the 63AMG with a better quality built, and anyone who truly know and understand engineering would rather to take the 190 2.5 over the E63, choosing between the 190 2.5 and the Evo 6 is the real hard choice cause both are legends and great, you can't compare a shitty car like the E63 next to legends .

Actually E63 AMG S model does 0-60 3.3(sedan) according to car and driver and 3.4s on wagon, which is amazing for heavy car, runs 11.5-11.7s in 1/4, older e63, with 6.3L N/A just do OE Tune and it will run mid to high 11s.

Rory MacKay exactly you got it right I respect mitsubishi and their technology, but cars are not their main interest :) They started with building electrical generators... so their cars are not to be seen, but so you have that joyful experience!! But does that mean Mercedes doesn't make you feel the same!! Only their engine sound at start up, revs and when accelerating is enough!! Now when someone comes and ask me.., would you choose luxury and joy or only joy!! Ofc I would pick the 1st one!!!
