How was heating during winter? Car does not have additional fuel based heater? Does the car use battery for preconditioning and how did the battery last? How about the heating during electric only driving during winter, does it use petrol engine for heat like Volvo XC60 T8

Hello, What a nice car! I would like to see a comparison of the efficiency of the charge mode. This is, how is the consumption once the battery is out, and how it is if we use the engine to charge and later we use it out.. Sure it's not efficient compared with charging from the grid, but would be closer compared with using only petrol?

Hi, I have been very satisfied with the car so far, it rides well and is built superbly. However, you notice the weight of the car when driving over bumps and holes in the road. The Mercedes me app is a great tool, you can easily check whats the charging level, how much petrol there is in the tank, if the doors are closed or open and where the car is parked at etc.

what is the average fuel consumption in town ? in hybrid mode ? and by the way : can you tell me if the 350 e worth it ? do you recommend it over a 250 d ?

Hi, in hybrid mode the average consumption is around 4 - 5 liters when the batteries are fully charged and the distance you drive is about 100 km. In longer distances the consumption rises to 7 - 7,5 liters when batteries have been consumed. The car charges the batteries also during longer distances when braking so you can use the electric mode in longer travels which keeps the consumption in a reasonable level. If you drive only short distances between charges (20 - 30 km) you can drive only with electricity. The 350e model is a great choise if you don't have to drive long distances all the time and if you have the possibility to charge the batteries at home and/or at work.

Hi, in summer the range is about 30 kilometers. I have not yet experienced winter with my car but as soon as the winter is here I will be posting my experience of electric driving in the winter.

But i think that Mercedes has made a not efficient car. Once the batteries go to 12%, the car has really high consumption, very different from other hybrids like toyota or lexus.This plug-in-hybrid is not the transition car to era of the full electric car. In fact, right now you can no longer order a glc350 e pulg-in-hybrid, because Mercedes Benz has cancelled the sale of this motor (it has last less than an year!!!). This car in hybrid mode consumes even more than a normal petrol mercedes. Inclusively more than some Gt models.... Will Mercedes asume this error and give the money back or a new model car to the buyers of this "antique technology" mercedes glc 350 e?

2,5-2,7 L/100 km...Mercedes said that in presentation of this car..i see no difference from a diesel (7-7,5 L/100 km)..

The consumption really depends on how much you are able to drive with electricity. I have made few longer trips (daily driving 500 - 600 km) with no possibility to charge the batteries which increases the average consumption.
