Mercedes-Benz W124 How To Install Mirror Rubber Seals (Step by step)

this is a step by step tutorial on how to swap your old mirror rubber seals to the new ones. This job is done on my Mercedes Benz E320 1994.

Would you say the originals are made out of rubber ? Or plastic ? I am scared buying some online and they are to rubbery

Originals from a more rigid rubber I would say. But I don’t think you can find them anymore. All aftermarket are soft rubber

I´m "a little bit late", sorry! An alternative instead of a new inner mirror cover. Take a thin neodymium magnet and glue it onto the back of the bezel near the top.
