Why was the 0-60 so low? A 185hp c230 will clear 0-60 in 7.4 seconds. A 300+ HP version is only a second quicker? Something is off here.

I have a 99 C43. I can tell you it will do 0-60 in faster than 6.5. 5.5 that Mercedes claimed to 62 is more accurate. Also owned a 99 M3 and a 91 MR2 Turbo and this will outrun both of those.

OK let's see ... the 43 has a better engine, transmission, body kit, antenna, interior (with the two tone designo black/white), steering wheel, gauge cluster, and, by a narrow margin, performance ... hmm ...

Chris Baisden And the c43 has more torque lower in the range. The c36 has a cast iron block mated to an aluminum head which is why it’s prone to head gasket failure unfortunately. But, it’s a very nice inline 6 otherwise.
