I've owned my 1998 100 series landcruiser 19 years and counting and the only thing I've ever done to keep it cruising was brakes pads oil changes and shocks that were replaced in 2009...I just get in,turn the key and it has always started..it really is an awesome vehicle.

Nathan C ..... I watched a KZbin video in which a Landcruiser 1998 owner took a look at his timing belt at 15 years with 231,000 miles on his truck and the belt was still in magnificent shape.Do you really think I should do all that preventative maintenance.Im at the point at which I think why do all that if nothing has ever broken yet.

@@benderbendingrofriguez3300 It shared the body and powertrain of the Land Cruiser, but had different front fascia styling and some interior differences. We never had this generation Land Cruiser in Canada so the LX470 was the only way to get it.

These still look good, and I like the design of these ones, alot better then the new ugly ones with big grills as all manufacturers are doing that these days and making their cars look ugly.
