in this video ive have just decided to add my 2000 mercedes benz w203 c200 kompressor to the channel
hopefully in doing so i can show you guys how to do certain things
tips and tricks
some hacks
and even DIYs relating to the w203 c200 k
it is a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder supercharged 6 speed manual
ive had it for roughly 4 to 5 years now and have loved it
it has definitely been a joy to drive and amazing to own
especially being manual
as you can imagine it has been really fun to drive
this si the car that made me want to buy the w204 and transitioned from
no regrets at all
there are some common issues with the w203 but we will save that for another video down the track
slowly but surely
i really just wanted to introduce to you guys this other car and hope fully you will enjoy tjhe content relating to it

Mercedes is the most dependable German car but expensive to fix BMW start burning oil and coming with engine problems so your best bet if you like German cars is the Benz I got a 2001 c320 4matic and I got it with 64,000 miles it was sitting for 13 years I gave it a full tune up change the brakes and it runs like a baby I got it up to 91,000 and it's still running beautiful after it's been sitting for 13 years Daimler was the man he should have taught Chrysler a couple of things but? That's why I want to salvage this car I like this model car I want to put LEDs and hook it up to the max but I want to get something I can drive around and let this sit Toyota or Honda would be the best choice for a lifetime running car but out of the German cars yeah I love the Mercedes-Benz experience since mine is a older one my wife is a 2007 and looks the same except her lights look better than mine in the front cuz there's a clear and that's what I want to change all the lights to LED I put a system I always love benz also...

Hi Mike great video as usual I wanted to ask you where did you get the little lip spoiler is it something you boy Sabbath or is it from another Mercedes and is it screwed from the bottom or is it stuck on with some sort of glue, also quick question for Mike or anyone reading this comment I have a 2005 w203 the colour is dark navy you would nearly mistake it for black in certain lighting I am considering changing the colour of the wheels do not know whether to go silver or I will be attending the windows anyone any one got any suggestions?

depends what sound u want if u do cat delete ur gonna get that loud popping rumble .. mine is only cat back and it's sounds like a nice purr..but if u want the popping rumble backfire then u delete cat. and go straight through

tbh, it is reliable, but be aware you need to maintain it, like anything if you take care of it it will last, my car is still going strong, i had a small hiccup with a rattle noise, but was fixed quite easily it was related to fuel injectors , apart from that i changed the maf sensor once, which was about 270 aud and regular service and its good as

Hey good sir, what double din head unit did you use, I want to install a new one on my w203 c180 since the navigator head unit lost its polarization which makes it unable to display anything

I installed a pioneer but u can do Amy double din unit as pongbas u have all the right iso harness and facia plate kit .. these days it's easier with all the adapters u can plug and play so easily

Hi Mike thanks for replying to my message I've watched the video you recommended also if there's anything you can think of that I might have show before to trade for girls Chrome air vent covers have nice spray gun brand new gravity fed I'm sure you would get some use out of it spare needles loads of spare filters attached to the gun itself I would be more than happy to see you end up with it as You do brilliant projects, have a a think about it we would both have something that we could use anyway apart from that great video 👍

Where did you get that strut bar from? Did you have to drill into the body since there aren't any bolts going through?

no drilling if u look at where the strut braces go u can see there is already holes for the factory suspension so u use a bolt and nut and u secure it with the bolt and nut, it comes with in the package contents

as long as same shape they will fit .. on ebay i found everything... for 06 that has the new interior so different trims... but the s class tail lights can be found just search ebay

Hello, just sharing my experience with like minded enthusiasts, with a C180 Kompressor. The factory cam magnet adjusters can fail, allowing oil to leak into the wiring harness. It can be an expensive eg $5k repair but is fully preventable. The parts are eg $40 each, located at the front of the engine. I think the motor is different to the C200 so not sure if its also at risk.

depends on what u want .. this exhaust is made that way so that's how it sounds ... if u just want looks and no sound u can always change the tip .. but for performance u need a slightly bigger exhaust system

I can tell u they are multi spoke staggered 18inch front tyres are 225 40 18 and rears are 235 x 40 18 size are 18 x 7 front 18 x 8 rears

oil filter is the same as 2005 they use the same.e as long as same engine petrol and diesel

@@mohsenansari1913 u need to check your key fob antenna ... maybe it's broken ... u try pointing directly at the infared bar on door handle like I show? .. if yes..then maybe something wrong with your infared ..maybe malfunction ..might need to change

@@mohsenansari1913 oh then it is your window actuator .. broken.. the motor that makes your window go up and down .. u need to replace .. but check with professional first or use a mer eyes scan tool to make sure its the problem then replace..do not replace hoping to fix ... don't waste money and keep trying to replace parts until u know exactly what is broken

there are alot of brands now but depends what your using it for ? everyday driving i wouldnt get a brand too exspensive unless u really prefer it and can afford it ... the strut braces i use are really good qualitu too cant remember the name but they make under carriage braces too for many models...ill check the name and getback to you... really depends what ur using the car for ? track ? or jist for looks? for everyday driving. u just need something that works and is practical.... all these factors will help u pick one ...wen u decide why and what ur using it for..quality will be easier to decide... also for suspension get coil overs amd ones that are about 1200 will do

I have a c240... I just got it 4 days ago. What is w203. Can that be explained? Is that like the body style. Ive been looking for parts. But i cant find any. Just tryna get my ride looking the part. I love this car. I look online for diy stuff. Not much of it tho.

ok so u have a c240 w203 is the body style ..for example it started with w202 w203 w204 w205 etc..wen looking for parts u need to find parts for a c240 which is actually the 6 cylinder version not the 4cylinder like mine ... we have different engines but the exterior is basically the same ... interior is different depending on the year model and series aswell... look for your yr make model and engine ... or easiest way is to use your engine number and vin number...with that u wont ever go wrong ...99% of the time...i also recommend oem parts over genuine as it will be alot cheaper...

Is there a mod to turn on the fog light on when the headlights come on automatically? Without pulling the light switch button.

anything can be done just a matter of cost and time..so for instance you could always wire your fog lights to come on with the headlight however it may throw an error cuz of power draw and the sam units sending pulses through the car detecting fluctuation in voltage and amps... but a capacitor can help with that too with a switch

nice my friend always wanted the v6 model I had the clk 500 at one stage then got rid of it ..too much fuel and hassle of servicing ...lol..
