I’ve been looking at the old w124’s before because my uncle had one, but the w211 caught my eye just today and they seem pretty great. Enough technology for it to be comfortable and luxurious and not too much to cause many problems. Thanks for the reply💪🏽.

​@@thegamecreed133sit in one first, position is rather high and very much not like in bmw 5. Also steering is heavy, in the city and during parking manoeuvres can be a pain if you are coming from newer cars and electric pas.

I own one 2007 plate, can say it's a good choice for the £ these days, good power good consumption and a very German solid built slider

@@Naedanger253 yeah. My c class is German as an old car. But i think the e class is more stylish, more solid, and bigger. And it's hard now to find a clean one. There are a few online with low mileage but stupid prices.

I want to buy this car, it's my favorite E class and w211 is the last old-fashioned Mercedes(everything is done well, with attention at details. The gearbox is 5gtronic or 7gtronic??

Lol got the exact Same car! Also 2006 in black with even the same Rims. Got 200k Kilometers now Mine did 231 km/h on the speedo.

Really? I shared this video in a Facebook group and some said that it hit 250-260kmh. But I find it hard to believe. I was flat out and the engine couldn't do anything more

@@SlowFord Hey again, i have to correct myself. Last week i drove on an empty Autobahn in East Germany at night. On a very very steep hill i reached 247 km/h. I was shocked and amused. :) The RPM was at about 4500-4600.

The c class is a little lighter than the 2.2 diesel e class. Has the c180 a manual transmission?

5 speed was only on the 4 cylinder diesel. it's also a far better gearbox than the 7 speed.
