Help how to reset sunroof w212

I had the same problem after a lot of search i found the solution: 1. Put the car ignition on position two 2. Raise the sunroof till the end 3. After raising the sunroof press the key up for 5 seconds 4. After that it worked fine for me. Hope it will fix your problem

are these panoramic strong enough?I was thinking to get an e350 (2010 y ) but because of heavy winters and hot summers im nota sure if it wont crack one day

I don't think it will crack. The only problem I am worrying about is if it clug the drain and comes water inside the car. 😞

Hi everyone i had the same EXACT problem i have managed to fix it. It needed calibration through the obd and a lot of special grease. I took it to a specialist and within 5 min everything operated as normal. (I tried removing the fuse, cleaning the rails and resetting methon (mentioned in the manual) but nothing worked. The only thing that needs its calibration and a lot of oil (there is a specific one for panoramic sunroofs). Mine is a C220 CDI (w204)

You need to do sunroof initialization, which needs a specilized devices, for example Launch x431 or benz xentry.

Motobeard i did it on garage which has professional program. In my country they charged about 5 euro to resynchronize 😊

When my sun roof didn’t close I pushed the button that closes the roof and pulled the roof with my hand to help the motor close it.

I dont think you can search for a problem using c250 e350 or s500 if you have a merc bcs this is the motor litres 2.5 3.5 5.0 but you have to know which generation of class is your car For ex c class 1 first generation w202,2nd w203 3rd gen w204 and w205 and new c class 2021 w206
