Hi, I saw in another videos that after replacing the sensor they are using the diagnostic tool to calibrate the car for new nox sensor. Is it needed? Or did you just replace and clear the DTC? Code P220E on E200 2017.

Brother the part number on the original is different to the aftermarket part you bought on ebay. Does it make a difference?

Is there any difference in between an aftermarket and genuine one? Apart from the price of course, just thinking that there’s no point to get a genuine one if the car will act the same…

great video. I have a mercedes c class w205 2015 year, c 250 diesel. I cleaned the adblue injector . he turned on the check engine light. p220162 The NOx sensor (cylinder bank 1) has a malfunction. The Signal Cimparmision is Faulty. when I clear the error it is gone for 20-30 days or 50-60 kilometers and then it appears again. how do I know which sensor it is, upper or lower, what should I do?

Hi, really informative video! I have a w205 250d and it has no engine light on but was running poor mpg return so had it scanned again with mb diagnostics and told error code P229F85 any help would be much appreciated as I may try and sort this myself rather than the £600 plus vat quoted edit just did a further look and it says sensor 2 bank 1 so looks like its the same as you've changed here which is encouraging, do I have that right?

Hi, yes, it's the same one on the video. Just get the nox sensor tool from amazon. it's around £10, it's easy to remove with the tool, it's sometimes hard to remove from the exhaust, you can use a 22mm spanner to, if you have it

I think I am going to try this and will order the removal kit off amazon as it makes sense to have it longterm as these sensors seem to fail a lot on these cars it seems. maybe Mercedes had a bad batch. your help is much appreciated. keep up the good work and I hope the channel continues to grow!

Hello, great video really informative. I keep getting P2201 error code with check engine light which i have cleared and after several hundred miles keeps coming back. Does this mean i need to replace Nox sensor same as in video?

@manmotor2889 thanks for your reply. I just did some goggling and realised my error code suggests bank 1 sensor 1 and your video is for bank 1 sensor 2. Does that mean it's not the same sensor shown in your video and if not do you know where the sensor 2 is and if its same part as sensor 1. Thanks

Hi , it cost me £130 from ebay from main dealer it cost £450

Have the same fault on my petrol model, got the original part to be safe for £300, £60 labour to fit. Hoping this will solve the problem for good. These parts are an absolute bump, Mercedes tried to charge me £550 for the part alone.
