I thought you guys would enjoy a quick video on the Mercedes wiper blade change. It was a little tricky to figure out how to bring up the wiper arms, but a quick glance through the manual brought me to the result. I hope this video helped someone in need! Mercedes C300 Wiper Blade Change. Boom.

If you turn the car on, then off, open the door then press and hold the screen wash button to the first indent, that puts the wipers in service mode.

I have a GLC 300 and if you open the hood, then push the hood up into what I call the maintenance position ( the hood will be almost vertical) you can flip your wiper blades out and change them if you have trouble doing the start and stop process.

Hummm I’ve never heard of another hood position on the C class. I’ll have to figure out if it is possible in this segment as well. Thanks for the tip!

Dude. I hate Mercedes for this design. For the first time I was confused on a wiper installation procedure. I've dine many styles of wiper blades because I work at a parts store but this takes the cake. Me and a coworker were tryna change these at the shop I also work at and we were both confused. Once I clicked on your video it all made sense.

i did exactly as you said to my wiper blade and its not coming off. The clip wont move. Its staying locked. I literally used as much force as possible

Turn on ignition, turn off. Hold wiper button (the spray button) for 3 seconds. Boom.

FYI: my W212 had a loose wipper arm on driver side. The fact that it was skipping a lot during wiping was my clue to search all over the net until I found loose nut 👍

you can buy OEM blades direct from Mercedes for 40 bucks. The dealer marks them up again.

I tried this trick on my cla 250e but then as soon as i press the wiper button it goes up and I simultaneously press off button but the wiper just to down. Cant get them stay to the top…

In the W204 it is mutch easyer to change wipers. This shit that i have in the my new W205 is just crap..
