You can access the boot with the top open by using the blade key, put it in, turn it and then press the button and it will open

Yes how ever if the key doesn’t work and the boot won’t open via the remote then how can access it ?

Do you offer repairs on the roof mechanism? I’ve been told my hydraulic rams are all leaking hence why the roof is inoperative, however as well as this, the 10mm lock is failing to lock that flap.

Hello. Is there something I have to know to close the lid back up on this car? I was able to open but now i can't close it. I can pull up the part of the roof but then it seems like it is stuck and won't go forward. It feels like it is stuck...the window will lift up a little but i cant get the rest of the roof to move forward. Thanks!

If you want to close the roof manually, you need to open the pressure relief screw that can be accessed via the boot area. I’ll try make a video to show where it is.

@@DaringBeefcake Thank you for your reply! I actually found the answer yesterday in another video. I had to turn the pressure relieve valve 2 turns to the left and was able to close it after. I turned back the valve once I closed it. It is OK to leave the pressure relief valve 2 turns to the left or will that ruin something if I plan to just open it manually as i am not ready to fix the hydraulic system? Maybe mention that in your video? It would be much appreciated! Thank you!

@@TimetoRelaxzzz am glad you found the answer, i think you can leave the valve open if you operate it manually, there's no reason as to why it should cause any other issues, i need to fix mine too.

Hey, I also have the problem that the lock at the rear window is only half engaged so there is a signal that I can’t open the trunk. Problem is that my trunk lock is not working anymore, so I’m really desperate what to do. Any suggestions how to open the trunk? Greetings from Germany

Am still working on this issue but am away on holidays at the moment and I haven’t worked out the issue yet. Not sure how to open it without the key sorry

Insert the metal key into trunk turn 1/6 to left (counter clock wise) push in button. DO NOT LOCK WITH KEY

That is the million dólar question heheh. Well check the micro switches located on the side of the top the bit that has the rear glass, there are two micro switches there. Sometimes they break.

I see that the roll bar (rear headrest) is not down. They would need to be reset then the trunk will open and hopefully it is the only sensor preventing the Top from operating. Thank you:)

Hi and thank for your feedback I had everything reset and in the end found that the vdo was faulty. I changed it and everything is working now.

That tool was provided with the tool kit, am sure you could get it by searching online or a an MB dealership..
