Great video, particularly the part about making sure you don't move the top nut when tightening the locking nut. Other videos show guys moving both wrenches/nuts at the same time, then they're surprised when the clearance has changed.

Let me pull my engine out to avoid buying special tools 😂. All jokes aside very helpful video. Thank you sir

Can this be done without the special tools with a diesel engine still in the engine bay/car???

Very helpful video, and thank you so much. This video really helped my confidence, and you know; it's really not that hard. Those special wrenches are not in my budget at the moment.

I suppose you have your engine out of the engine bay/car also?
@Altanox Жыл бұрын
I feel like this is a bit deceptive. No special wrenches... Sure... But engine is out of the car. Aren't the special wrenches exactly for that? Because there is no clearance when engine is sitting in the car ?

Hi Sir, glad to find your interesting video. I have a mercedez mb100d engine and can' t find any tutorial on how to fine tune each valve sequencially and and what type of filler gauge is required. Btw it has 5 cylinder, which not common here in the Phils. and I am an amateur mechanic. Thank you and God speed!
