Hear a loud CLUNK every time you shift your beloved Mercedes into reverse or drive? Your Driveshaft Flex Disc could be going bad and needs to be replaced! Very common issue on ALL Mercedes models. What happens is the rubber begins to dry out and crack causing all kinds of vibration like you see in the beginning of the video. This part is made to reduce the vibration between the driveshaft and the transmission.
In today's video I'll show you how to replace the flex disc quick and effectively. The car used in the video is a 2000 Mercedes C230 Kompressor, but this is same procedure for any Mercedes model with this part. (C / E / S-Class CLK SLK W210 & more)
