how did the axel just fall out so easy ? and you put it back on just by pressing it with your hands ??
@Mechani_ColeКүн бұрын
I had it apart already when I stripped it, so when I had to replace it in this video, everything had only been bolted up for a day or so. Not enough time to seize up or rust If you see the first video to this, the Axle was so stuck it almost broke the specialty tool
@eninetyКүн бұрын
@@Mechani_Colei just watched your last vid my mouth dropped when i saw how easy you got the new axle into the hub wtf 😭😭😭 but that's like same as me, i replaced the axel, then after realized i needed a new knuckle. for first time the axel came out quite easily actually with an air hammer, but took a whille of tapping around the back to get the new in !!! so to replace the knuckle i was going to disconnect it at the diff again to do the same process cause i thought i needed the knuckle held in place by the arms to be able to get it in or out .. this gkn axle is a tight fit i could try but i dont think theres any way im getting it in or out by hand

Hello, I HAVE 2008 Audi a6 3.0 tdi quattro, have zf 6 speed transmission and 250.000km, and Up to now the fluid is not changed, do you think that it will be beter to change now, or is it risky, I asked to zf local dealer, they check with little transmiission oil from my car and they Said that do not change from now on , what is your opinion ?
@Mechani_Cole5 күн бұрын
I would just drain 2-3 quarts and put new fluid in. Or if no issues, just leave it alone

Really good video. I have a 17 plate VW Golf. I was just driving normally when all of a sudden there was a loud noise and heavy vibrating. The car also couldn't go fast. A friend mechanic said the nearside engine mount came away which caused the engine to drop. Do you know if this would cause what I experienced when driving?

In the middle of pulling the supercharger, in preperation to replace the PCV. I was under the car on a creeper, looked up and zerode in on this support mount. It is super beaten up and ready for replacement. Ordering this part soon as my post is finished. My A6 has 165000 miles on it, stereo blowing a fuse, in need of valve cover gaskets, more than likely a walnut blasting on the intake valves, injectors will need to be cleaned. Do not care what anyone says about Audi, they have the best understated body and lines, and the interiors are amazing. Love my car.

We keep plenty of the cam magnets and spool valves in stock at my VW dealership parts department. They’re a common failure point on the TSI platform. Which ever VW dealership told you that that car didn’t have it is BSing if they’re going based off the VIN of the car

Don’t rush them bolts are easily stripped had no issues. Thanks man 🎉
