Great instructions. Worked perfectly. I had my car serviced locally and they weren’t able to reset it. Mercedes service said I would have to bring it to them and they would call the shop to verify the service and then they would reset it. The heck with that. Thanks!

Thanks, the only one that mentioned it not only has to be in Trip mode but on the mileage screen. After this it worked

Worked fine for me. For those seeing the mileage double or overdue, was reading that you need to drive 50 miles and reset the service again or visit a mechanic with a Star diagnosis machine to reset it.

It works, but I guess it differes from car to car (looking at the comments). After playing around with it for a while. My car had to be completely off (not stand-by) and on the odometer screen. I pressed home, then scroll button, and the menu came up. A message telling me to start the car to access the full menu came up, and I was able to reset the service, thank you!

Mate you know your stuff. My car is showing its 0.9 litres too much oil. I asked them to drain it and it’s still showing too much. On service it’s showing at max. Is this a problem? Should I get it drained down? I told the guy I don’t care if it’s low. I’d rather the car tell me it’s low and I’ll top it up then go through the issues I’m having since the service . Thanks for your video though pal very helpful

Mine said the full service could not be carried out. I drove 50 miles like I’ve seen others do on message boards then tried again and it worked

Thank you don’t like paying Mercedes 450 pound to change oil so use a independent and reset it myself

@Bernhard Schwarz yes a service is more they do a “50 point visual check” lol yes it’s definitely worth hundreds of pounds for someone to tell me my tyres are at 3mm and my break pads are 30% worn so need changing lol
