As the camshafts run at half the crankshaft speed you may have to rotate the crankshaft a further full turn (360 degrees) in order to align the timing marks.

nice vid but a blocked dpf is only a symptom, they are able to clean themselves up. the root cause of why it gets blocked need to be addressed, otherwise it will come back after a while.

Nice video ! Quick question, was there a screen at the section where the thermostat housing enters the engine block? Because I'm facing an overheating issue with the same engine , have changed the water pump, expansion tank cap but still overheating, so I'm suspecting a blockage in the system.. Thanks for this video, I able to reset the service reset message on Merc A class 2008. Unfortunately there was another message appear Service E was due 730 days ago. I tried the same method but it still remains there. Can u pls help with that or it will removed with diagnostic computer.
