Mercedes E-Class W211 XENON headlight low & high beam repair: D2S bulb, igniter or ballast change

In this video you will see all the parts consisting Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211 pre-facelift XENON headlight. Low beam troubleshooting is same both for Adaptive and NON-adaptive type xenon headlights. You have to check, and eventually change & replace, your xenon bulb, xenon igniter or the ballast in case of low beam failure.

Most probably the shutter is not working

Thanks for the quick reply!. Yes i'm thinking the same. I was hoping it might be the ignitor, but probably not. Is there any way i can check that the shutter is not working? Which cables are running to the shutter. @@xenonland
