Mercedes E350 212 thermostat replacement

thermostat on a E350 4 matic 3.5L v6
torque specs:
Secondary air pump-5.9ft/lbs
Thermostat housing-18.4ft/lbs
Belt tensor-If you are reinstalling old tensor 18.4ft/lbs NEW belt tensor is 25.8ft/lbs

i noticed that after i put the video up, i am sorry i have more parts coming in. i should have the parts by Friday, i will make sure i have the belt rout and tensioner in the next video. Thank you for the comment.

If the light comes on po128. Do I have to clear the light with a scanner after I replace thermostat? Or will it eventually go off by itself

I cleared the code, but remember that a code scanner and codes are just 1 part of a diag, you can have underling problems causing it. I'm not sure if that code will just go away after you start/drive it.

Crazy that dude doesn’t even show the fact u have to take the pulley off also to get to the bolt for the bottom of the thermostat
