Good tutorial, thanks. 2 questions. First, mine is a 2023. You think it will be any easier than this one? Second, doesn't this interfere with the airbags in an emergency?

hi, if yours is a x253 then it would be the same. If it's a X254 it will be very similar. Look at your VIN it's the 4th to 6th characters. I think as long as you run the wire behind the air bag at the A pillar it's fine. goodluck

Hello, Thank you for the video. I got few questions and if you answer I appreciate: 1) For fusebox one is 322: Head unit , other is 306:front passenger seat & seat heater unit, correct? 306 is okay to connect or i damage front seat electronics ? 2) For wire way on airbag, do I really need to open ( isnt it dangerous to damage airbag, maybe open risk ?) or can I put the cable just between airbag column and plastic column, I see that in my car there is space ? 3) I am unexperienced for fusebox connections. Do you have any suggestions ? like direction of the fuses etc ... My car is also X253 , GLC300e 2020 .

Hi, 1) no you wont damage the electronics. All you're doing is making use of the power source and diverting it to two destinations via the 2 fuses. one to the original destination and the other to the dash cam. 2) no the air bag shouldn't open since engine is not running. I would run the wire in a way that it is not in the way of the air bag when it opens. 3) have a look kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJLWpoOtpddoa6s he explains very well good luck

What brand and model did you use for your dash cam installation? I have a 2021 GLC 300.

hi, I used an AZDOME M300S. it's pretty good for the price AUD$120.

Which wire goes into the 30 amp, and which one for the 20 amp?

yellow (ACC) goes to 20A, red (12v) goes to 30A
