Mercedes has been producing automobiles for 100 years and do produce fine cars but Sometimes shit happens. My GL 350 has done about 55,000 kms aprox 35000 miles and the AC compressor went kaput, conked off. For a high end brand like Mercedes Benz, it shouldn't have happened. But like I said, sometimes shit happens Understandable, but what happened thereafter, shouldn't have happened. The VP sales and marketing, and the Indian CEO, refused to do anything about it, infact offered me excuses via their customer support about the Car being out of warranty and stuff. Can you believe, a car costing nearly $ 125,000 comes with components with no direct wear and tear will have No dependability. And one of the most reputed Auto giant will have leaders with care a damn attitude, I was looking forward to adding an S-Class to my garage, is now going to a beamer 7 series, My son in USA, was also considering a GLE 450 is now buying a Toyota Land Cruiser. My partner who was planning a Maybach will never touch a merc brand. Mercedes may produce good cars But when you spend so much money, you want them to offer a reliable and dependable After sales too. So my friends best of luck with your merc, you may need it.

The GLS 350d AMG package has very nice as interior + exterior design as compared to this but the engine remains same as 350d. I would recommend AMG package with GLS 350d which looks very young & sex as compared to this.

Harshavardhan Desai but it does have off road settings. I guess the company didn't allow the reviewers to take it off road. If it was a western auto show, they would have probably taken it off road to test it. Indian Channel reviews are so predictable.
