What code did you get in your scanner? I think I have a similar issue... getting a code about signal from terminal 15 being implausible or something. Circuit 15 is the ignition on this car right? Car started shutting off intermittently while driving or idling but would start back up. Then a couple weeks later it stopped starting up... won't even crank. 2010 ML350 Bluetec. Also got a PRESAFE warning on the dash everytime it shut off while driving or idling.

@@rowaldwousie5289 hmm ok, seems to be ESL fault. Usually if you jiggle or smash the steering column a few times it should move the electric motor and allow you to start the car at least once. You kinda need some to take it out and repair it. So again, look for Mercedes c class ESL fault and should be same issue that you have

I have a Mercedes ML250 automatic. Parked on a steep uphill and now the car won’t start although I can use key to open and shut the car, don’t think the battery is the issue as we didn’t leave anything on and was only gone for 10 Mins. Stranded in North wales!!

Guys please help. After having the battery removed for hours and then reconnecting to try to solve an issue i now get a error message (EZS- electronic ignition lock) which stops my car from trying to start the engine and windows from opening or closing. Its looks like a security feature has been enabled or something. I tried to remove it with an obd device but nothing. Car mercedes cla180 c117 2013 Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks 🙏

Just programmed a spear key after all went successfully original stopped E350 2004. And spear was not operating. Couldn't figure out what was the issue until someone else removed the EIS. and car back to normal. Still they didn't let me know what they did! I believe they reprogrammed the original.

Not sure really. Mercedes genuine Keys can't be reprogrammed. They come designated on their own slots...
