I would like more detail removing the plastic cover with clips to the circuit board. I haven't been able to remove it. I guess I'll try harder, knowing that it actually is removable. Otherwise, great video.

Great video. My '85 380SL odometer just stopped. Been watching a few of these and your video is very easy to understand. I am handy but now I just need to get the nerve up to repair mine. Where did you get the interior plastic tool from? I have seen videos where theus a tool with little hooks at the end of a handle to pull the assembly as well.

Onliest thing I REALLY needed more help with was that brass fitting you removed with the birdbeaks. Any more help you can give with getting that off? Mine's stuck and I'm afraid of penetrant unless I hear it's ok?

I have 380sl 1985 it has the odometer stop at 16500 with the same problem as your mom had and you fixed it Can you please help me out

Any chance you know where to find a diagram that shows the 15 pin cluster arrangement behind the speedometer. I accidentally opened it and want to put all connectors back in correctly. 1984 380SL
