Mercedes SL Rear Hinge Roof Flap Covers Repair Fix ! - $1

The elusive rear hinged flaps that allow the roof to fold down are very common in coming off, as the little plastic clips can break. There are kits you can buy to repair, however you do not really need them as you can follow what I did and repair with some little tie wraps quickly and easily!

Mine disintegrated a few months ago I used the 3d printed hinges big mistake they never really worked your method would have been better I've know got whole where it once lived the zip ties would've kept it in the car John

That's a shame, use the smallest cable ties you can find, nice and thin.
