Mercedes tire pressure TPMS sensor missing warning fix on E350 W212 and GLE / C-Class.

I purchased a 2011 e350 sedan (not coupe) and I’ve been getting this message every now and then. This seems to have really started after I got my tires replaced. It’ll come on and then after driving for a while it’ll go away again. Anyone had this problem and how do I fix it? Well its easy! Mike Icee will fix this problem.
In this video Mike Icee will go over the fix for a warning on the instrument cluster on a Mercedes W212 E350 e-class that says tire pressure (TirePress.) sensor missing.
Mercedes-Benz W212 E-Class sedan and wagon 2010 - 2016. The procedure is almost same for all W212 models.
Always check with a Mercedes Dealer for proper parts and repair methods.

Lmao you need a tire shop to do it. It’s inside between the tire and rim. If you turbo crafty and have leverage you could do it yourself but way too many variables

that must suck. I haven't had that happen yet but I have a 2015 and I'm watching for it. Supposedly, the TPMS sensor batteries last maybe 6 years and thats when they start going out. I looked into replacing the battery inside the sensor but its a very difficult job. It's much easier to just buy a replacement sensor and have the tire place replace it. They should be able to program it for free for you as they have the equipment.

Yes, the MB ones can be activated in 2 ways. One way is the scanner, the other is installing it, inflating the tire to 42 psi and driving it around for like 2 days. I've only replaced 1 sensor so far. The factory unit is made Schrader.

Can you get any third party tpms sensors, would that work? OEM ones are quite expensive.

I replaced just one but the error still exist for that same tire location. Sensor tested to be ok too. So not sure what happening

You can get one from the dealer or tirerack, most tire places can install it. Be careful they dont charge to program a unit if it is already programed.

yes but head to a gas station to check your PSI. and be cautious.
