Mercedes University: 2020 GLE (Heads Up Display) Pt.11 Have you been wanting to learn how your car works? In this video I explain common questions asked after the purchase of a Mercedes Benz. I go over features such as adjusting the height, brightness, display content, turning it on and off, and more. The goal for this series titled (Mercedes University) is to provide one location that allows Mercedes Benz owners to understand their vehicle. Can you assign more than one function with that gesture sensing feature? You know like doing different gestures for different features? Also can I set a default view mode for the parking camera sensor

If the car is equipped to show the speed limit, can the HUD display that as well similar to how BMW's HUD shows it?

We are in Australia where we drive on the left hand side of the road. In the operating manual it says to press the button on the left hand side of the steering wheel to access the heads up display. We tried doing this and were getting nothing. It wasn't until you showed the symbol that we were able to see that it is on the right hand side of the steering wheel. It is very confusing when not only they put the steering wheel on the opposite side of the car but they switched the controls over eg the left control are on the right and the right are on the left. Surely a company like Mercedes Benz could print books that apply to the vehicle you have purchased or show which symbols to click on.

Sounds frustrating. I am glad that you were able to find the answer! I have never heard of a customer having that issue. You are right though...they should make a different manual that goes over the features and operation of your specific vehicle.

Costs too much. To be fair, here in the UK where we drive on the correct side of the road too, we get the same manual as you Aussies and learn to do the 'opposite' as a 'norm'. But compare that to my problem. Just got my new CLA Shooting Brake 2 weeks ago and when experimenting the menu for Language selection for Assistant, English was highlighted in a list just before Espanol (Spanish). As I clicked I must have scrolled too and the whole system went Spanish!! But through guess work I managed to choose English again thankfully. Amazing car.

Hmm. I have not seen that icon before in the HUD. Some vehicles outside of the US have different features. Do you live outside of the US? Thanks for the comment!

Head up display von GLB hat leider ein Problem. Wenn man es so einstellt, dass man beim Fahren die Strasse sehen, sollte ist die Strasse leider Nie scharf, es flimmert oder besser gesagt die Strasse ist verschwommen! Wer kennt dieses Problem??!!
