I followed this video over the weekend after I removed my dashboard from my 1984 300TD. The center vacuum pod had a torn diaphragm, which I replaced using your methodology. I tested vacuum on all other pods, and they held strong. I made the executive decision to leave those alone in an effort to avoid the likelihood of breaking 38 year old plastic. Great great video, Can you post what vacuum tube, vacuum T, you used and any other things. Any link to the pod rebuild kit. Link seems to not work. You have lessened my anxiety so so much ..thank you. Grant

Jeeezzzz,I have to go deal with that crap also🤦🏻‍♂️ My 300D doesn't blow out of the centervents and really need them to work. I live in Curacao and here we use ac only😁

Every thing is ok I don’t like vacuum system to complicated air leak between the doors under the hood

the performance analysis parts (Murphy) friction fit inserts for the large double connector pods are junk. The travel is very limited and they never worked no matter how hard I tried on my 85 300sd. Just get a good junkyard one or buy new and save yourself wasted money and aggravation.
